Shawn Lee
Youth Ministry in Training
Shawn K. Lee is a devoted follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, whose life reflects a deep commitment to both faith and service. Originally from Malaysia, Shawn was raised in a Pentecostal Christian home, where his spiritual foundation was first nurtured. Over time, he has taken a personal and intentional journey to understand and anchor his faith more deeply—embracing the biblical truth of being saved by grace with a conviction shaped through thoughtful study, much like the theological clarity found in Lutheran, Presbyterian, and Reformed traditions.
Currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Engineering at KIT (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology), Shawn balances academic excellence with a passionate dedication to ministry. At ICK, he faithfully serves as a worship leader, using his gift of music—particularly on the piano—to guide the congregation into heartfelt praise and worship.
Beyond music, Shawn is being prayerfully trained and called into youth leadership. He carries a strong burden to help young people grow in their understanding of God’s Word—not only emotionally, but intellectually and spiritually—so that their faith is both grounded and lived out in truth.
Known for his disciplined devotion, Shawn spends significant time studying Scripture and walking alongside others, encouraging them to live out a Christ-centered life that is both thoughtful and biblically rooted. His desire is to see believers grow into maturity, equipped to navigate life with wisdom, faith, and conviction.

You Are Invited to “THE EQUIP”
ICK Youth Bible Study | May – July 2026
Every Friday evening, we warmly invite young adults from all cultural backgrounds to join us for “The Equip” at ICK Church.
“The Equip” is more than just a Bible study — it is a place where young adults gather to grow in faith, build friendships, share life together, and discover the truth of God’s Word in a welcoming and meaningful environment.
Our evenings begin with fellowship as we cook and prepare dinner together, creating a warm atmosphere of community, conversation, and shared life. After enjoying a meal together, we continue the evening with interactive Bible study sessions designed to help young adults understand the foundations of the Christian faith.
Through 10–12 engaging lessons, we will explore important questions such as:

Who is Jesus Christ really?

Why can we trust the Bible?

How can God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit exist as one?

How does faith relate to everyday life?

How can we answer difficult questions about Christianity?

THE EQUIP – Phase II

After our summer break in August, “The Equip” returns for a deeper second phase in mid-September.
This new series is designed for young adults who desire to explore the Christian faith beyond the basics and engage with deeper topics surrounding the truth and reliability of Scripture.
Together, we will explore themes such as:

The historicity of the Bible

Archaeological evidence supporting Scripture

The reliability of biblical manuscripts

Understanding faith through history, evidence, and theology
As always, our evenings will include fellowship, cooking and sharing meals together, meaningful discussions, and Bible study in a welcoming international environment.

OCTOBER-DECEMBER 2026
ALPHA & THE EQUIP – October to December 2026
From mid-October to mid-December, we warmly invite you to join us at ICK for the second season of our Alpha journey as part of “The Equip.”
After learning the basics of the Bible, we now go deeper into the Christian faith through the Alpha Course — a global program that helps people explore life, faith, and Jesus through meals, teaching, and open discussions where every question is welcome.
Together we will talk about:

Growing in a stronger understanding of God
Each evening includes shared meals, fellowship, and Bible-centered conversations in a welcoming international community.
