At ICK – International Church Karlsruhe, we exist to serve God by actively participating in His mission, as commanded in the Gospel of Matthew 28:16–20 — making disciples of all nations. Rooted firmly in Scripture and centered on Christ, we are committed to loving others as God commands (1 John 3:11, 3:23, 4:7, 4:11-12; 1 Peter 1:22,4:8; 1 Thessalonians 3:12 & 4:9-10), reaching those who have not yet heard the Gospel, and nurturing believers into mature disciples.

We confess that Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church (Ephesians 1:22–23; 5:23, Colossians 1:18), and we, as His body (1 Corinthians 12:27; Romans 12:4-5, belong to one another. United in Him, we remain spiritually strong, growing together in faith (Hebrews 10:24-25; Ephesians 4:15-16; Colossians 3:16; Revelation 20:4), love, and holiness. As Scripture teaches, “speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ” (Ephesians 4:15, 1:22-23; Colossians 1:18). Therefore, we are committed to mutual accountability (James 5:16; Hebrews 10:24-25, 3:13; Proverbs 27:17; Matthew 18:15; Colossians 3:16)  and to encouraging (Galatians 6:2; 1 Thessalonians 5:11) one another toward spiritual maturity (Romans 15:1-7; Ephesians 4:15-16), so that the whole body may be built up in truth and grace.
